This blog highlights on just how little “news” is actually shown on news sites. Primary focus is on CNN, as MSNBC’s site changes layout every Thursday, and Fox News is just loony. I’ll remove any content from the screenshot that falls into the following categories:
- Celebrity & entertainment
- Sports
- Technology
- “Feel good”-style, “You can do it if you just want it bad enough!” articles
So basically, anything that isn’t news. Usual caveats apply, eg. content will not be removed if there’s been a huge technological breakthrough, or similar.
